Riding/Horse Care lessons for Special Needs Child

Our son is six years old, diagnosed with autism, and interested in horses. We'd like to hire someone in the Fishersville (Waynesboro, Staunton, Dayton) area to work with our son several hours a week, to introduce him to riding and taking care of horses. No experience with special needs children needed, just someone with a calm horse and willingness to help open this door of potential interest for a sweet boy. Have you contacted Personal Ponies? National non profit that promotes disabled kids (no specific disorder) with ponies? They have a website and a VA state coordinator in Winchester.

Wish you were closer, we have a pony that would be perfect to share.
